I hope to do some road tripping to kayak fish.  I need to truck bed for camping gear and luggage.

so a trailer seems like a fun option.  the kayak specific custom unit (friend just took delivery of one!) cost as much as my kayak, rigged.  not happening.

I think I could rig Hobie Cradles for my Outback fairly easily on this thing.

anyone do it?  I think trailer length is good, and the tires are bigger for highway speeding.  :D

I don't see why not.  The bunks should be adjustable too - get the fit just right for your hull.

Plus, a lot of extra load capacity for carrying extra stuff.

It should work great. And, yes, lots of extra carrying capacity.
