......so I B-line it, straight to my HOT SPOT from the day before to try to get that 31" again and another of it's twins.

pic2~ on the way, the sun began to rise along with the moon still out.

pic3~...I get to the spot, drop an offering and BAMO! Fish On! I'm thinkin it's gonna be the same as before, so i get this tiny 28" off my hook, let it go with visons of many and bigger...NOT!  it was my first and last of the day.

pic4~......Nate/Bungle came by and did a drop, only to get hooked moments later, he wasn't the only one to stop by to say hi and get a fish or two.FishingJay did it too!,TWO of them as I told them there's no more fish here and paddled away, to look back and see the place going off! (glad you got into some of that action Jay!)

Thanks!  Now I have stuck in my mind an image of the guy in this photo walking around with a BAM buckle that would have been Dustin's.

Yeah, no doubt it was an honorable cause...I'm just showin' a little bling envy.

Here's what we brought home, plus two we got from Sat, just in time, I was almost ready to buy some fish from safeway.

What can I say... except that Sean, once again, put on a great show. Big time thanks to Sean and Leah for all of their hard work last weekend. This was my first time at BAM camp and I guess I picked a dandy. I guess that the fishing was like a hundred times better in the two years prior. Mendo has always been a hard lake for me but, it treated me good on Saturday. Chucke and I got there Friday and messed around a bit in the afternoon. Chucke hooked up with a nice limit for the fryer and before we headed off of the water,  took a great picture of him. I looked at it afterwards and told him that the rainbow going into his net was a good sign. Sure enough... he pretty much kicked ass the next day. Good job Chucke. I'm still curious as to that last fish that broke me off though... that one will pretty much haunt me for a while. It's all good though... mission accomplished.



The food again, was up to typical NCKA standards... pig on pig, fried everything... I'm still reeling from the fried oreos... all I can say is... "Got Milk..."... All of the food was great. I'll remember to be better prepared for the cold nights next year though... Man, it was cold... coming from me... that's saying alot... Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

That pic is a classic!  Glad everyone enjoyed the event so much.  Trying to make each one a little better than the last.  Hope to go all out in 08 with my two events.

my highlights include.....


- Mike's bacon wrapped pork - I devoured 4 of 'em...
- Got to meet more NCKA'ers....
- The fact that both days that I fished, I started catching fish when Juan / Mako1 (Bueller) decided to move to another spot 
- Finally found a girlfriend ....her name is Ashley .....here's her picture
