TLA and the teams did a great job hosting the tournament.  It was my first tournament without a bite, but I was delighted to meet many NCKA members.
Also, the lunch, which included fried rice, hot dogs, hamburgers, cookies, cakes, soda, coffee, and water, was excellent.
I will be sure to attend the future events.

My first  time  back  on the Yak in almost  a year after a difficult 2023.  So glad it was for Keith's event.
Lots of new  faces. But it was awesome to reconnect  with my OG friends  !!!
Thanks to those who lent a hand from the Burger chef to those standing by and assisting  with  landings.  Many trips to  ARW, yet never seen  it so choppy and with such a ripping  current.
If you  are the one  who  left their wheels on the island at the end of the parking lot - see Keith.

In the game of biggest fish, if you can't enjoy routinely gettin' your ass handed to you, by great fishermen, then you don't belong in the NCKA.

Had a great time today out in the sporty water! I was able to get 3 shakers and 1 legal fish before they called an early end to the tournament. It was great to meet some new people that I hopefully get to fish with in the future. My legal fish wasn’t that big so I didn’t enter it, but here’s a photo proof!

Thank you Keith and all the volunteers who help to put this even on every year.  Great to meet up with new and old friends in the parking lot and on the water.  I did not get a single bite this year, typically I at least get some rays and or shakers - but a super fun time nonetheless.   kinda bummed the event was called early - but totally understandable and I greatly respect the concern for safety of the 80+ souls on the water.

Those hot links were amazing, loved the DJ's jam, and thanks Pat for the parking lot sushi off the belly of your yak.

Thanks TLA, looking forward to next year!
