Near shore rockfish I.D.

Lots of folks getting cited not knowing the full regs for the new regs as of September 1st. No near shore rockfish take.

All these rockfish are prohibited for take at the 50 fathom and seaward depths

Luckily this doesn’t affect shore based or spearfishermen.   I may be trading in my fishing gear for a speargun soon.

Some great places to shore base fish south of monterey but i am to old to scale cliffs.
