Basically, anywhere around there Pescadaro down past Pigeon Point is know to be very sharky. Ano Nuevo is the southern tip of red triangle.  GWS can be anywhere they want to be, anytime of the year, in any ocean. The Bean is simply a good launch spot.  More kayaks fishing that spot=more interactions with GWS.

I wrote an article years ago for kayak angler magazine I have a copy PDF maybe I should post it up in  a separate thread?  Call it Sharkformation?  Subject titles requested.  Winner gets a prize.

Owner located..  attached is a photo of the traced bite mark. It is very close to the mid section of the kayak. Park ranger will be taking some photo for study next week.

The kayak was full of water. Took some doing to drain before we can get it inside the boat. Every time we flip it over to drain, more water get inside. Since non of us has a kayak, we did not know what to do other than just muscle it in, water and all.. :)
