Wetsuit with release zipper

I am in the market for a 2 or 3mm wetsuit with release Zipper for kayak fishing.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using NRS 3.0 John Wetsuit - Men's for several years and am happy with their service. 
One issue I had was a hole developing adjacent to the knee reinforcement patch.  I think it put too much stress on the non-reinforced side. (3 yr old wetsuit)
They fixed it for free the first time, and the second time they replaced it with a new one at a moderate cost.

Most REI stores don't have them in stock.  I had to order online and they have a great return policy, just return to a store.

Also, look for REI 20% off coupon and use it for an additional discount.

The 20% discount was for March 2023 only.  Maybe they will have one for the Blak Friday sale 

That's my favorite as well, the NRS has served me well for over 10 years now.  It does have the lower zipper, for relief.  But personally I appreciate that there are no booties, cause that's how my relief exits my suit

Take a look at the NRS 2.0 or the Stohlquist Rapid John. Both are great. I'm currently using the Stohlquist. Found it on sale before Christmas for $89.

The NRS suits are great I’ve had mine since sometime in the 90s and no fails anywhere on the suit.

123e I wonder if the tear by the knee has to do w pedaling vs paddling?

Can't go wrong with the NRS Farmer John(or Farmer Bill if you're a bigger boy). I've had mine for 3years and the only issue I had was a hole from practicing self rescue, which I patched up no problem.

I don't think so.  I have one old pair, approximately 10 yrs old, and didn't have any issues.  I think the newer design put a lot of stress on one corner of the knee reinforcement patch; just my opinion.
I am having problem on both knees.

I'm about to send mine in for same issues on both knees and just over a year old replacement they sent me.

Did some more search on NRS wetsuit and found this one with lower price.  Anyone experienced with this model?
