Well, gamma rays and chemotherapy didn't kill me, and the Administrators were kind enough to let me re-register, but O My Stars and Garters, I've been demoted to Sand Dab?

Life can be so cruel.

Happy to be here.  Happy to be alive.

Thank you, Allen, and all.

Can't kill Kevin.

Glad to see you upright and still fogging a mirror.  Demotion be damned.

Any plans to harass the local trout?

Thank you, Doug.

Trout?  What are those?  Unicorns around here.  I almost have the pups trained to not start swimming where I'm fishing and then the wind started going crazy.  I can cast a fly up to about 12 knots, and trout lures will land where I intended in winds up to around 18 knots. Now Nature just needs to give me a morning or two when the wind is more calm than that.  So far, she's been a stubborn so-and-so.

And I need a new kayak.  I not only quit the forums, I sold the Trident - worst decision I ever made.  Try to find a T13 in excellent shape.  Go ahead.

But I won't be holding my breath while you ask around.

Thanks again.  It's good to be back.

Welcome back Kevin  :smt006

Thank you ever so much.  One of the things I missed most was my morning dose of NorCal nonsense wisdom.  It was right up there close to being able to eat, and my hair.

Both of those are back, too.

Hey, welcome back!
Is it nonsense when it’s what you’re looking for :smt003?

Hair return? You’re lucky there. If you find T13’s and there are more than you need, shoot a PM, ok?

You'd ask me this and question nonsense?  If I can find a flock of T13's, they're mine; all mine.  But I don't think I'll find one of them worth buying for sale in this or my next lifetime.

I'm hoping to find a Tetra 12 that hasn't had the snot beaten out of it.  Those seem to get snatched-up as soon as they go up for sale, too, but I'm think one of those would be perfect for getting back in shape while paddling about in the lake.

(Just kidding about the T13's.  If I see one in good shape, I'll PM you)

Thank you.  I should never have cut-and-run in the first place, and I'm mighty glad polepole didn't make me beg too much to be let back in.  Heck of a guy, isn't he?

So are all of you.  I appreciate this:

Congrats and welcome back  :smt006

Such a blessing to hear from one who has come through such a dire season.  I can read of the joy and the fireduppedness that you own in this new familiar yak season.  Stoked for you and hopin' you find that kick ass perfect yak or 3.  I'll keep an eye. :smt006

Thanks for the re-welcome, Eddie.  It's great to be back and I'm looking forward to reading your tales again.

And thanks for offering to keep a lookout for a kayak for me.  With your help, I'm sure I'll find one.

Weird to run into anyone who knows anyone from Port Orford - or Sixes - there aren't very many of us to know.  Yeah, it's been weird weather all year.  When it's not raining, it's mighty blustery, and when it's not windy or wet, the ocean nothing but big bumps as far aw one can see.

Oh well, I can't have missed many fishing days if there haven't been any.

Welcome back! I’ve always enjoyed reading your ramblings  :smt044

Thanks, Three.  I missed being here more than I realized.

Great to hear you weathered the storm and welcome back.

I appreciate that.  It's always nice to be welcomed back into the fold.

Thanks, guys.
