Yeah, I'm still in Michigan.  Lots and lots of lm and sm bass in the area with 40-50 fish days rather common.  No shortage of pike as well, which are rather tasty btw.  Anybody heads this way in their travels give me a shout.

Cool video.

I grew up in Iowa and we fished quite a bit in Minnesota. The locals all fished for walleye, but we always preferred northern pike. They are great fighters, and food-wise, at least the equal of walleye...

that is awesome. i went to school in Minnesota and fished the Mississippi for pike and bass a lot. super fun on the fly!

Those bugs in the video gave me flashbacks of fishing some lakes near Mille Lacs as a teen and getting mauled by mosquitos while catching crappie in the evening.
