Santa Cruz 5/11..?

Thinking about hitting SC this Thursday for some RF, lings, and things.  Anybody else considering?  🤙

Sadly, I can't make it on Thursday, but I'll be keenly interested in your report on RF, lings, and things...

I was planning on launching from the Harbor on Thursday.  I am a rookie though, still learning my kayak and the best way to go about things.

like you I'm pretty much a rookie, what time were you thinking of going?

I’ll launch A dock (Aldo’s Restaurant side) around 7am.  Fish the morning until the wind picks up 🤙.

I'm just a weekend guy for a while, but I look forward to hearing what's happening out there.

It was underlings all over and a little sloppy last weekend.  Looks like a 90 degree difference in the swell all this week.
   Hope y'all find a big one and it's not a burpy ride. looking forward to the report!

I was also planning on launching from the A dock.

7am works for me if you don't mind rolling with a rookie.

I'm gonna try and launch there also, I've never fished Santa Cruz, also a rookie.

I will be launching around 7am tomorrow at the Harbor.  Do you know where to launch by Aldos?  I would be happy to meet you there.  It isn't the normal boat launch, you access the north side of the Harbor from Atlantic Ave.

Most launch at Atlantic and mariner. Pull it up on Google and you will see it.
