I live in Pleasanton. Bought a kayak and have only taken it out twice so far launching from Alameda. Looking to learn more about kayak fishing.

oh yeah, the water level is so low right now. I only started fishing in 2020, but the 2nd biggest trout I caught was from shadow cliffs! I caught it from shore though, didn't have a kayak then

There is plenty of discord on this site, especially during winter, when people get grumpy due to the lack of fishing opportunities...
