I'm sure with all the reposting happening on FB & Instagram, plus this post here, there is very little chance he hasn't heard this news yet, but who knows.  All those dudes are of low ethics so I wouldn't be surprised if he just ignores you.

Well shucks Joe, this image he grabbed is spot on perspective but the "artist" tweeked the fins on the lower area attempting to snag it?  I compared em' and I hope he surrenders and understands, I'd give Adam the benefit of the doubt but there are plenty o' ling images(photos)for line over, to grab from, but why yours?  Prolly easy snag, and solid art, yet being ignorant not knowing the repercussions....keep on creatin', see ya' on da wattah...

Joe said he is gonna hand out some cab stickers to commemorate the AOTY cabzillas last year so I'm stoked to be getting one!

Bushy is a great guy and I'd normally agree with him, but not on this one.  I'm not sure whats up with giving certain people so much benefit of the doubt that they're actually good people with good intentions.  Time and time again, this dude and his crew have proven otherwise.

I hear him and his pals have a tourney coming up, it would suck if they all can't make a video out of it due to persons exercising the 1st amendment in a public space.

I have my stuff up on Redbubble under JoeDubC, where they produce items to order. Their T shirts graphics don't hold up to washings, and their stickers are not as good as the ones I print out and give away. But their hats and coffee mugs seem pretty good. Maybe the hat artwork wouldn't hold up to washings either, but they've held pretty good to the elements so far.  I get a portion of the sale but it's not much of an income stream. I think I've collected less than $30 over a year's time.

Hey Joe, sorry to hear about this whole situation, definitely a bummer.

I didn't see the video you mention, but is it possible Adam's "graphic designer" ripped off your image without him knowing about it?
Agree with many others here - he should have at least reached out to you by now.

How about a threat of a DCMA takedown of his YouTube video with your image in it and a DCMA takedown of his mercy store. Or at least threaten it. A DCMA stroke never goes away and will get his attention since his YouTube channel could be gone for good if he repeat offends. No more clicks likes and subscribes.

I mean, you’ve been pretty nice about it so far. Maybe it’s time to not be nice.

Update:

I emailed him a second time and he apologized and was out of town, not checking email. He took it down off his website.  His graphic designer must have pulled an image search for Cabezon but didn't change hardly anything. I also contacted her via instagram.

At least we can tell that Keith/TLA drew his own logo...

thanks man!  What I said in post is: " I'd like to believe he's a good guy just coloring outside the lines."  So, no vouch on that here...not these days. Not after publicizing a very personal and fragile steelhead area...I'm sort of steaming about that.

I watched parts of the local steelhead video Bushy. At the 12:30 mark, he seems to imply that the first part of the video was filmed on a Friday. And the rivers down here are only open Weds, Sat, Sunday. So perhaps more self-incriminating evidence of accidental poaching…
