Sorry to get off topic, does anyone know what happened to the poor chap who thought he had a state record black rockfish? He went so far as to document and submit to DFW and it turned out to be a protected species. Sorry, i forgot what species it was.

That is really nice artwork. But I disagree with the Fish ID…I think its a deacon rockfish Hooper!
