I have Kokatat drysuit. Last time I sent it in for some minor routine maintenance (or so I thought), they told it was unfixable and they replaced it. In fact, they no longer sell the model I had, and the one they replaced it with was more than 50% more expensive than what I paid originally (I’d bought it originally on close out). So, if it was me, I’d go with the manufacturer, even if it is a bit costlier in the short run.
Love kokatat. Had mine warrantied because of delamination. They even agreed to upgrade me at a very minimal cost.

I forgot to mention that my warranty upgrade was free. It took a while to get it, as that was at the peak of covid-related shipping delays. In fact, I ended up using a wetsuit all of last year. In any case, it was well worth the wait.
I don't like stuff that sucks.
