Which model of the Accurate Tern 300 do you have and would you recommend it for this rod?

Tern 300x. Probably way overkill for anything in our local waters, but it has a ton of power and it makes me happy when I use it. It’s light and solid.

Why you guys do this to me, I didnt need another rod and Rockfish opener isn't for another month up here..

But holy hell does she feel sexy.

Gonna try my sx on her, the combo feels pretty good. Just need to reline, I have 40lb braid backing down there im gonna peel to.

Update: had so much fun with this rod. Bought a bunch of cheap jigs and lost a lot on the bottom. I don't think bottom hooks are my thing I'll stick to stingers lol. Maybe missed 3 bites or so and lost a couple at the surface but this rod made all the small fish so fun and had no problem with bigger rockfish. Waiting for a ling to "make my handle bend" as plumber Doug tells me will happen lol. 4-6oz Keel jigs zip really nicely and look so good using this rod I'm super happy with it. But my trevela is going to get really jealous this season...
