Have you guys seen the plans for new resorts at Berryessa? I am bummed they removed some camping (in exchange for glamping options), but I love the idea of fixing up the resorts and adding new things—like a brewery at Steele Park! (errr, The Launch now)

Through everyone off the lake, pass out interim contracts, Sell lake to private companies... expensive entry fees and prohibitive camping fees... re-privatization of Berryessa. Hope we all got enough before getting priced out...
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

I mean, they have to raise the entrance and camping fees, right ? Gotta keep the riff raff (a.k.a. us) out somehow.  :smt044

I stayed there a couple months back and it was $40 a night in my rv.  Double that is a no go for me for sure!  I don't care if that includes electricity, water and sewer.  But they will still get plenty that will pay that amount.

Yes, yes they will. and those of us not able to afford won't go. then when "No one is using" the resource... they will long term rent/lease the sites to those that can afford it... and close access to all without right of entry by paying first... Same old story...

Good thing we have kayaks and can launch anywhere. Just going to be a  1 day fishing lake now unless you are one of those Napa winery millionaires.
Integrity first, Service before self and excellence in all we do.

All gave some, some gave all. You will never be forgotten!
