swimming distance to nearby marina.

I wonder if its really an "island" or more like a collection of semi-aquatic plant growth and mud you sink into up to your arm pits.

I guess I'll have to paddle out some time to poke around.  Wonder how the RE agents give you a 'tour'?

Looks like a couple of ship wrecks are included.

I have ran my frog over every square inch of that shore surrounding that island. MANY black bass caught.

The mine sweeper has been gone for years and the long shipwreck is more of a barrier wall to protect the covered berths behind it.

The island itself has been eroding away with the heavy boat traffic on the channel outside.  I wonder what the building potential is, there used to be an old house with a dock on the lee side of the island.  Would definitely need rock dropped around it to fishy the erosion.

Looks like Eddo's harbor.
Great launch and some big fish right at the docks.

I wonder how long anything built on that land would last after any major storms/flooding? I’m not familiar with that area at all but would assume it looks pretty prone to flooding with the provided images.
