Glad I saw this thread- I'm still new enough that I was looking at the reports and scratching my head. "I think I read on NCKA that over 10mph is risking it..."

Damn, 2020 even took my first crab opener, will this year ever stop? :smt009

Fortunately, you can have your own personal opener a few days later  :smt002

There're 5 more days til the opening and weather could change by then plus I always read the weather forecast with a grain of salt.

This x 100.  Forecasts change.  The current forecast is a good reason for caution and high scrutiny of the weather on launch day.  I'm not planning anything else for Saturday until I know for sure (which means Saturday morning).  I'll even load up the car on Friday evening.  Things can change quickly... not just for the worse.  As I said in my original reply... 🤞things change.

I'll be skipping opening weekend and heading out either Tuesday or Wednesday next week. Probably heading to HMB.

Be safe everyone.

Seriously. 13 feet at 13 sec here... the Noyo bar is going to be nasty.
I'll be lying in bed listening to the shorepound on Navarro beach!
