I wasn’t sure if this post should be under “safety first” or “kayak fly fishing”. The flying part is appropriate, but these guys weren’t fishing.
I wonder if sonar, which whales can hear, can prevent such things.

No way. Kayak fisherman are too smelly and have a rubbery texture when chewed.
