Experience with kayak city in Sacramento

I used a garden kneeling pad and cut out a spot for the transducer, and battery. The pad, and transducer were glued down with Lexel. The transducer wire and power wire go through the hull using a Hobie through hull wiring kit. The bulk of the transducer wire stays coiled inside the hull. The fish finder and battery can be removed easily to store or transfer to another kayak.

I have an Eddyline Caribbean 14, but you should be able to do something similar in both of your kayaks.

I like this. I use the same battery and it's usually loose in the hull.
