I am free of WAF and KAF this weekend and am up for fishing anywhere along the Monterey Coast or points north or south.  I have not been to Stillwater for a while but there are many other good options.  Big Sur may be doable if conditions allow.

On second thought, I will join the group at bean this Saturday.

I was just waiting till tomorrow to decide if I wanted to make the drive down that way to do some fishing.

What are some good spots down towards big sur that wouldn't be too bad of a launch for a semi-newb like me?  Hopefully a bit easier of a launch than Mill Creek  :smt003  I'm feeling a bit lazy this weekend.

Since this is my first year yaking I'd like to experience alot of different places.

Good luck out there at the Bean...it's a beautiful place.  If nothing else I might join the crew out there.

I'm gonna launch from CRSB tomorrow. Took my 3 week-old-son there today and it was FLAT calm with no wind. Saw an awesome dolphin show. They were going crazy just beyond the kelp...maybe some good bait in the water?

Slowest day of kayak fishing all year. Only got 12 fish over 3.5 hours. Kept two BIG coppers. But...I did fish from 11-2:30, which is a bad time. And I was in my buddy Jeff's tandem. And we didn't have a FF. AND we tried to fish new spots. Yeah...I'm full of excuses.
Launch and landing was too easy.

Here is his first trip to the beach. He was great! I even got to throw a swimbait for an hour while he snoozed. No fish that day though.  :smt002
