Hello all... Marv has, and always will be a huge inspiration to me. He has fought this thing for a long time with his head high, I wish I could give more than money and my utmost respect. He will be remembered as a true warrior. Ben

$500 more and I'll give away a pair of Costa sunglasses (winner's choice) for supporting our friend, Marv.

I can probably provide a list of everybody who contributed if you want to use the list for an opportunity drawing afterward... :-)

UPDATE: I had to end the Paypal Pool because I’m precariously close to hitting the paypal max of $10k and/or 100 transactions in a calendar year...counting Aoty/Doty entry fees and this fundraiser, I’m at $9950 and 98 transactions! Fortunately I just happened to export my transaction history right now. But I don’t want to deal with the IRS. Sorry guys. I never thought we’d get to $6300 so quick with this little fundraiser for Marv.
So, now somebody might have to start another Paypal Pool or maybe create a gofundme account...
In the meantime, we’re gonna get this $6330+ to Marv asap. Thanks again Aaron for volunteering to get the cash directly to Marv!

Dang, I should’ve done the research first, before freaking out and closing the Pool. Because it turns out the paypal threshholds are $20k and 200 transactions per year (before they file the 1099-k). D’OH!
But we’ll get another one started tomorrow morning. Thank you!

Don't do GoFundMe. They take a percentage of donations. With the Paypal pool, am I correct in presuming that you don't pay Paypal a percentage on your end? If you do not, why be paying someone on both ends of the transaction?
