It sounds like that boat belonged to the owners of a local Pho restaurant in Marina that recently closed. Talk about a bad month. :-( And Pho Fusian was really good too! You’ll see their videos of the sunken truck on facebook if you search for @phofusian831

Brakes Failed = I didn't know my truck couldn't handle it

Isn't that truck a bit small to be towing a trailer that size?  I'm just assuming there was a decent sized boat sitting on it.

The boat that is roped off in the hazard looks to be about a 15 or 16 foot aluminum which are pretty light for towing. I am guessing he backed down to far and the rear tires ( which are like balloons when submerged ) became to light and it just kept sliding down with the surge of the tide. My guess.
