Fishing fleet Monterey Bay

The last few day there has been a large fleet of boats off of Pacific Grove. Anyone know what they are catching, doesn't look like squid?

Squid with some sea bass mixed in.

They're still playing bumper boats out there this morning (and all night) going for the squid! Would love it if the WSB made it back into the paddys

Are you kidding.  Those Monterey squid guys will run you over on purpose. Not getting any intel from them.

Yeah if their commercial boats don’t bother screwing around with them. If recreational...it may be worth a shot. Or just listen to the channel for chatter.
