Thanks for the link!

I was gonna try to make it out there on Saturday with you cats, but that wind prediction is pretty menacing.  :smt009

Thanks for the link guys.  That forecast is hideous.  If that holds til tomorrow am I will just fish Mendo with the crew on Sat.  This is killing me, I really want a flatty!

Looks like the wind prediction for tomorrow has dropped substantially. It's calling for <10knot winds until noon.

I already made plans to play fishing guide for some PFIC'ers, though. So I'm out.  :smt009

I was really looking forward to meeting some of you guys.

I don't live too far from Tomales Bay, so if the weather holds I'm probably going to check it out with some buddies of mine from the Marine Lab.  I'll let you know what you missed.

OK... I'm on the fence... I might go.  Wind forecast is definitely looking more favorable... and a westerly wind (which is predicted) is OK for Tomales Bay... it's the Northerly and southerly winds that really rip that bay up.

If the wind forecast holds or improves... i'll be very likely to go.

I'll check on my WAF tonight... maybe pick up some flowers on the way home for a last minute WAF increase... if I go, it'll be 7-ish.  More later...

Since we "pulled the plug" I am now obligated for Sat., I am hoping things improve for Sunday.  I NEED a flatty.

Alright. I'm out too, then. Gonna fish the Bodega Head jetty with some folks from down south.

The forecast for Sunday is still pretty shady...

I can't make Sunday. My GF gets me that day!

Some friends from PFIC are comin' up and camping this week-end.

We'll probably fish the Bodega Head jetty for rockfish, lings, perch, etc during the day then hit up Tides Wharf for some leopard shark/batray (and bar) action at night.

At least on the jetty you can pick one side and be out of the wind. :smt023

So far the www.iwindsurf.com forecast is looking good, but I have no idea how much faith to put in them.  Anyway, my friends and I are still going head out to Nick's Cove in the morning probably getting there around 6:30 am or so.

RockHopper, if we find that it's blown out you might just see us on the jetty.

The Iwindsurf.com reports have been pretty trustworthy by me... although I have mostly used them for SF Bay forecasts.

Should see you there in the AM.
