Jim, that is nicely done. much appreciated. There were numerous times I wanted to check it out but heard about the parking issues and the MPA's. now that the parking issue is clearly visible I won't be discourage to check it out.the $10 parking entrance. there's no one to collect? do we need exact change?

When you drive in on 17 mile drive there is a guard gate with a guard that will take your $10. He has change, and will give you a receipt showing you have paid that you just put on your dashboard.

Bump for guys fishing the opener down this way...

All sws parking etc info is same...

1. Pay your $10 per vehicle entrance fee when you drive in
2. Park in the designated spots
3. Smile and wave and be friendly to staff and golfers and tourists

Only recent change has been that the two bathrooms by pier are now "gender neutral" so you don't have to feel bad about changing in or taking a dump in the ladies when the men's is full.
