Head to the day use parking area closest to the jetty and launch right there. The jetty helps shelter that portion of the beach from significant wave action.

Very nice! Hope you left some for the tournament!

And to answer other posters questions yes red crab have been safe for awhile there is still an advisory out on them to boil or steam them and not to eat the gut(butter)

Any news about catches from Doran? Last I heard, the commercial fleet came in back in December and decimated the place.

Just out curiousity, how deep do you drop em on your yak? Must be a workout unless you got really lucky.

Nice! Did you use a mini crab cage (with loops) with a rod, or a drop down crab cage?
(I know very little about crabbing, but used the mini cage with loops of Pacifica pier and got a few.)
