all I know is I am tired of doing the neoprene thing. I would really like to move up to a drysuit but I just can't afford the big bucks.i have borrowed them from friends a few times and the xl is the only size I can get into without dislocating my shoulder. I would prefer kokatat as their drytop has been great for me and I believe they are a great company. If anybody sees a good deal on an xl used or new, please let me know.

Just received the suit....fits excellent but I'm going to need some practice with the zippers....they are tough but makes the whole waterproof thing work.... zipper lubrication included makes it a lot easier...gotta go find some cold water to play in!

the zippers on my kokatat are difficult to reach too, just takes practice in dislocating your shoulder then popping it back in.

There is a size chart at ACK regarding these suits and it didn't steer me wrong.

So I have a  Kokatat Hydrus 3l suit already, but now thinking about a back up.
Anybody have any comparison between the two? Looking for info on durability, breathability, and mfgr warranty. Price looks good, but at what trade off?

Not sure if you're a 2XL or not, but either way got an email from ACK the other day that the TKF discounts are no longer...

Not to worry,  stopped by Kokatat today and tried on some gear. Looks like I will be backing up my Kokatat with Kokatat.

Austin kayak outlet has the Stohlquist G-Pod Drysuit with Tunnel, Men's on clearance for $399.96, all sizes currently avail except XL.  If you have a TKF discount, its an additional 15% off and is $339.97 shipped for free.

About 2 weeks ago I ordered and received one of these dry suits. I was very pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped it. I had ordered an XXL in Mango (the only choice left) and it said it was an XXL on the paper label(?) but sewn onto the suit was a cloth tag that said it was an XL. It fit perfect!  :smt007

Prior to ordering I had called and asked ACK "if/when"? I received the suit and it didn't fit, would I be assured there was a full refund policy. They said yes! Got the additional 15% discount due to 1st time TKF discount plus the free shipping.

Great tip, thanks
