We have a camping trip planned up in Limekiln in a couple weeks. This kind of a counterintuitive but I was wondering if anyone has ever had any luck fishing for non-RCG species up there?

You mean like WSB or halibut?
Es possible.

I would suggest fishing off the rocks with frozen squid for rockfish. That area can be very productive. Plus, lingcod season for shore-anglers just opened April 1st!
