Not here in Texas during the summer months, feel like a bathtub! 

Hit your head or get tangled in leashes....then what? #threebuckles #whiteknuckles (all three straps, snug/tight to turn knuckles on your hand white. That was a saying I taught my kids when they were putting theirs on-Three buckles, white knuckles!)

Apparently his fishing buddy got in some troubled too and got rescued, carried away in an ambulance.  Wonder what happened?  Wave?  Localized storm?

I'll say this again, if you haven't come out of your kayak unintentionally, add "yet" to the end of that. Always, always wear a PFD, have insulation in water below, say, 70 degrees (higher if far from shore), and have signaling device(s).

Safety first always wear your PDF life jacket.

Kayaker's name is Kenneth Maldonado.

He was Fishing from his Kayak, when it started taking on water. When his buddy was towingoing him in he turned around and saw the Kayak upside down and the Kayaker was no where in sight...

They still haven't found him as of now...

One person on a kayak.  One person on a raft ? Raft?

PFD found inside? Inside a compartment or was he fishing in a  SIK (sit inside) ?

Doesn't add up. Gotta be more to the story. If you knew your kayak was taking in water, and you had a pfd, wouldn't you think it's time to put it on?

and why didn't he jump in the raft with his buddy?  instead he opted to be towed in a sinking yak???

and how did his buddy end up in an ambulance to the hospital?  None of them had a VHF radio?
