I lucked out when I booked the room for the trip. The Super 8 that most of the groups stayed in did not have any non-smoking rooms. So, I booked with the Comfort Inn. They let us put our first day's harvest (40+) in their freezer. For the other days, we bought a couple of the big plastic totes from Walmart and some ice.
To bring them home, we each bought a cooler. We mixed the cooled birds with the frozen birds and it worked out just fine. The biggest problem was that you have to leave one wing on for identification purposes. That made them bigger than if it were just the breasts.

The trip was guided. But his show is a traveling one. They start at the southern border of the state in February and work their way north following the migration.
