NCKA Friends and Family - Events/Attractions Admissions Share

Last time my wife and I went to the MB Aquarium, compliments of Big Verm Thanks again, we got the strangest looks from everyone. Finally at lunch i asked my wife do we just look like we don't belong here or something, when a very nice older lady said you have fishing tournament shirts on, LOL!!! that's what we always wear GS shirts, Albion, Rock fish wars, NCKA !!!! Go figure. After a good chuckle with her, we didn't feel so out of place knowing why everyone was looking at us !!!!

That's so funny you mentioned that. I brought some fish killing shirts and a "gut fish" hat.  My wife said no way.  I guess it's better than being stared at the whole time. 

No one closer to Monterey mentioned having guest tickets so full price it is. Heading there in the morning. 

We just went to gilroy gardens and ended up with season passes.  Unfortunately it only allows an entry for one guest on Fridays and main tickets are tied to our pictures so can't loan them out.  We got through many of the attractions today but plan on going back Friday and letting our grandson play in the water park area.  Ages 3 and up is $45 so if anyone wants free entry for 2 this Friday we can get you in and save you $90.  Really fun place for small kids.  36" tall gets them on most rides and if not alone can go with adult.  I think 46" is the magic number for a couple bigger rides.

Shoot Duane, wish you had asked me earlier, I woulda just mailed them to you.  Morgan hill is a bit too far out of my way.  Anyone who ever wants to go, really just send me a PM, i have two guest passes that can let adults in. Kids under 3 are free i believe.

That was my fault BMB.  We had plans for gilroy gardens and Santa Cruz but changed plans last min and knew I could not pick them up from you or get them in the mail in time so thought I would ask if others had them.

Yes, its sickening.  Whenever I go I shouldertap 2 sorriest looking young adults from general admission line and walk them through membership entrance for free.  $100 is meaningful cheddr to alotta ppl, me included.

I had that happen last time (I must look pretty sorry with a 6mo old and 4 yr old  ), probably one of the coolest experiences ever!

I have both a state parks pass and national parks pass good until november 2016 (state) and may 2017 (national) you can borrow it if you want to come fish for striper locally (Sunset, Manresa, NB) or kayak / spend the day at Seacliff or New Brighton and I am not already there, or if you are going on a NP trip and need a pass to a park!

I also have a state parks pass but those are a little more touch and go about sharing, usually best if you try to get in before the rangers or they may ask for ID.

I also have EB Parks pass for free parking at shadow cliffs and del valle, which I'm always happy to share, but it does have my name written on it so just hope they don't check too closely if you want to take a shot at it.

Filoli is a must see.  also highly recommend egg salad sandwich at the Cafe.

Filoli has been on my list for ages - I'll hit you up next time I need to take guests somewhere.

Haven't done that in years.  Had a blast.  Just kept trying to figure out how to get in and swim with them.  A little soy sauce and that thing could feed me for years.

I was curious if anyone had a couple extra Tech Museum guest passes.. Wanting to take my son(s) today (ones 9 mo) so anything would help! Thank you!

Just bot a LA Natural History Museum family pass.  Comes with guest pass.  Offers access to La Brea Tar Pits and Hart Museum.
