On the way to work today  a 8 mile  journey another Buck this one a spike got the vehicular kill. 4 weeks ago  same road one of the bigger bucks  I have seen in California rack wise got the vehicular kill. That one was in velvet still not fully grown out but huge. They started to grade  to  build a subdivision on his stomping grounds and drove him onto the road.  Last year I saw  this buck with his identical twin brother on the land that is being graded in September and I have to say the rack was impressive  at least a 38DD.
I think you would really enjoy the book Bone Game.  Seriously.

Kinda a road kill story. Saturday morning the local cat approached me excitedly and then took off to another porch and brought back a flapping dove. I took the dove from the cat and wrung it's neck as it was clearly suffering. I placed the bird on the ground...the cat gave it a few nudges, swipes, tosses into the air and then walked off disgusted that I ruined his play thing. Not wanting the cat to be cited for wanton waste...I bbq'd the bird with dinner.
If the cat continues to kill more birds I may bbq my first cat soon :smt002

That is the first cat that I have ever heard of that was useful. Safely extract DNA, so we can replicate the trait. Maybe swap out ass licking or hacking up hairballs, and I could maybe become a cat person if they brought home doves!
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.
