New lowrance elite 4 hdi issues

Had the same issue with my Elite 4. Upgrading the firmware fixed it for me. Instructions are on the Lowrance website, but in short you copy the firmware file to a microSD card and insert the card into the same slot as your Navionics card. The file automatically is installed. Remove the card and replace your map chip and you should be ready to go.
