If you don't mind me asking, if you weren't sick, what were your symptoms that led to that diagnosis? Sounds scary!

Made it back guys thx.

CGN====the only time I was sick was when they first found it 12-16-09. Had bad pain in solar plexis area and went to hosp emerg over it. Found two tumors. Biopsy next day said possible cancer. Had surgery 3-24-10 to remove it. On blood supply to the colon and small intestine. I was bleeding soo bad they gave 2 units and got out leaving one tumor in. It is a slow growing, caught earl, treatable cancer. So, for next 6 years I got 6-12 mos scans, monthly treatment shots and blood tests. All looked good til about 10-15 when saw some shadows on liver. Took two more tests-mri and ultra sound and they decided it was the cancer. Tried to get to Stanford for the latest new special test for this form of cancer so it would light up and the surgeon would know where to look. Stanford never came thru so after 3 mos waiting I had the surgery.

Got home Sun nite, 7 days in hosp. Surgery was supposed to be 6 hrs, took 10. Took the old tumor out and I didnt bleed this time. Then went to work on the liver. Split me from sternum to just above weiner, 50+ staples removed yesterday. Still have 3-4 spots to get off the front of the liver in just a couple more weeks. They now do it with a small hole and large needle. Go thru it and burn the tumor out with a microwave an a wand. I feel ok considering. Still not sick. But this time is much worse then the first time. Im older, they did more, etc. Surgeon said i will be more prone to a hernis now that the same spot has been cut twice. No yak fishing for a few months.

Good vibes for a speedy recovery, we'll save some fish for you, take care.....
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.
