I like the rudder but haven't needed it on the ocean so far. The only time I have been grateful for it is on Lake Del Valle. But that's nto to say it's a minor difference, it can make a major difference in certain contexts.

wow, lots of props for the kayak. :smt006
It just so hard us to car top the kayak, so hard us to take to everywhere...

What year is it, Naoaki? Is that the Kayak Ashley won at Yakhopper's event at Turner Cut?
I believe 2013 but not sure... & yes

Hey, you got a GREAT kayak for sale there and if I didn't already have one, I'd be on it.  Compared to my Hobie PA14, the Predator 13 is light as a feather!  I WISH my PA14 was that light!  Ha!

One solid fishing platform that won't get you in trouble, especially the newer fisherman as it is very forgiving.

I haul mine on a trailer.  Here's a few photos in case anyone thinking about this wants ideas;

What is the weight on the yak? How does it track in the ocean?

About 85 pounds. It tracks fine on the ocean in most conditions, a lot of people (myself included) use it on the ocean without a rudder. But adding a rudder makes it perform better.
