Hello,

We would like to sell Ashley's kayak, Old Town Predator 13 http://www.oldtowncanoe.com/Predator_13/.
Lightly used for a few years. Some minor scratches but the kayak is in great shape. No modification or holes yet.
It's just too much kayak for us...

We're asking for $1000 with Humminbird 597ci HD GPS fishfinder and Old Town Predator 13 Kayak Transducer Kit http://www.austinkayak.com/products/12830/Old-Town-Predator-13-Kayak-Transducer-Kit.html.

Let me know if you're interested.

We're located in Sacramento (Natomas by Sac Intl Airport), and planning to be at Crabfest at Doran beach.

That looks like a comfortable kayak, wish I had the room for it.  That is a great deal.

I have one, same color even, for my wife.  It's as stable as my Hobie PA14 for stand-up fishing.  She can paddle it as fast as I can peddle my Hobie as well.
I would recommend a rudder kit for taking on the ocean as it does have a fairly high profile and the wind pushes it around some when it's breezy.
I added a 6" hatch on the back that is marked out and easy to install with a cat bag to stow stuff she doesn't want to get wet.  Remarkably comfortable seat too with 2 heights; one for fishing and one for paddling.

My grand kids also all pile on it and have a great time with it as well.  It is very solid.

Thank you!

I have a red one but didn't know about the seat heights.

Honestly I keep it in the lower position the whole time haha. It's much more stable when out on the ocean.

I can see that. Those rudder kits are expensive. I guess I need to save up for that.

The rudder kit isn't cheap, but boy do they make a huge difference when paddling with wind or current.  This is an excellent river kayak as well with a rudder.  Just paddle and use the foot controls to steer.  I've tested it, and will probably get my kit before winter is over.

Considering the kayak sells for $1,400 plus sales tax and the seller has a $300+ FF already installed, the price is low enough to justify getting the rudder kit in my opinion.

BTW, my Hobie wheels fit the Predator's scupper holes, making it so I only have to deal with one set of wheels instead of two.

Seller didn't mention if it comes with a paddle or cart.
