Yeah the handles next to seat area are sturdy and strong but was looking for similar durable handle for front and back when not feasible to use side handles. 

I may just keep doing what I am as I don't use the front and back handles that often. 

I am sure Jacks method will work but pretty sure I don't want to screw on garden hose to my Hobie.

Duane, It is not garden hose. It is the same handle that i put on the absnatcher dive board that Bigjim uses. It is super tough and actually looks really cool. If you bring your boat down here, I will do it for you.

Yes there is one on each side but when carrying the boat I find myself needing both hands due to the weight & length.
Currently there's nothing else to get a really good grip on besides the existing handle. Once I get the H-Rail's installed I'll have a second handle on each side. Plan on mounting these behind the seat & will post pics once I get them on next week.
