Ever fished 10mile beach Point Reyes?

Well there it is: like Tote said gotta have a mothership.

We had so many discussion when I lived in Bodega (so long ago)... but never made happen.

Could you launch from Dillon Beach and roll down from there? It’s be a haul, but you could avoid the crazy surf launch... You’d have to cross the most prominent landlord stalking grounds.... Anyone ever done this here?

Damn, that'd be 7+ miles one way and that doesn't include any fishing mileage. And if things get hairy, there's no spot to bail either. And its sharky.

Yes, that's where scientists tag White shark for awhile (until they're everywhere now).  if I had an AI with motor, maybe someday...

But just imagine the launching and landing you tube videos.  It would be EPIC!! 

All jokes aside, that is one place where the risk is not worth the reward, especially since there are so many other places to fish in the area. 

I've been looking at Google Maps and it would be a 16 mile round trip from Lawson's to Kehoe with no messing around. Add in some circles and zig zags and you're looking at 23. Pretty doable in an Island with the sail. A long day, but doable.
