I found this today when I was looking at the Monterey Herald.  It's just a photo with the caption that it is a 54" halibut from the Monterey Bay, but no date, no species, no info about where.  The pic and caption are near the bottom of the article.

54 pound CA butt is pretty BIG. But I kinda doubt that pic is recent.
