How's the viz though???

I was on a power boat on Sunday.  We fished north of SC and cruised to the Concrete Ship and observed the unusual colored water for the entire reach.  Visibility was super poor; about 5 ft from my lure dunk test. We saw an unusually large number of Molas.  One even jumped clear out of the water. We caught a variety of rockies, and a large Starry Flounder but not a single Ling. Two other people I heard from caught large starrys last weekend too. Repeated lightning strikes and rumbling thunder continued over Monterey until at least 10am.  It was a very strange, but beautiful day on the water.
