Pillar Point Harbor. It's next to the Mavericks Surf Shop.

A wise man once said

"The best way to see if there is a shark in the water is to stick your index finger in the water and lick it.  If it's salty, there's a shark nearby."  - wise man

I haven't heard of any.

This is what I like to tell myself while fishing HMB... the sharks will stay west of the reefs.  The dolphins will give me hints that a shark is nearby. Ano Nuevo is waaaaaay south and with that much available food, the gws wouldn't want to come to HMB.  Sharks don't like the shallows or being near structure. My 16' kayak is bigger than a curious juvenile gws.  :smt003.

Of course, these are all lies that I tell myself, but it helps pass the time and focus on fishing.

I recently stumbled across these links. I would suggest saving the pdf to your local devise or backup storage. Then you can acces them while OTW if necessary. Or print them.

I was in need of a fish chart.  It seems like every time I post a picture of my catch of the day, someone is telling me I have a Gopher or a Canary.
So these will come in handy.
Thank You.

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”
