My son Ethan had all his wetsuits from when he started playing in the water.  Here is a quick video of what he went through to get to where he is now.  Started with 3mm, full, half, 7mm (YAHOO!) then accessories.

Awesome video!  Now I know which brands to look at as my daughter grows.
'15 Viking ProFish Reload, wasp
'11 Hobie Revo 13, skunk yellow
'12 Hobie Outfitter, dune (I'm the guy pedaling in the back)

And when they do get cold, because they are small bodied, you can recharge them with a heat pack http://www.reusableheat.com/cart/  I use the 5x9 wrap and got a couple.  Always throw one in Ethan's suit on a cold day.

I'm currently looking for suit for my daughter who is 6 but don't want to spend to much $ as she is growing fast. Not a suit for diving just yet but one to just cruise around on kayak and the occasional dip when flipped. Not to steal thread or anything but 2-3 mil should be plenty for here uh?
Any brands in particular I should go/not go with?
Or Ethan or anyone else have used gear they willing to part with that be awesome. She is 6 about 4"1 and 39lbs.
and life vest needed also

2/3mil if your going on a flat day.  I immediately went to 7mil expecting to flip, just in case because they dont last long in the water.  2/3 can play on the beach, but in the water it is a no go.  ethans sister is currently going through his wetsuits as she is younger
