Monterey County is not renowned for its sunniness. Sounds kinda stupid to me. Now a fog energy farm would be great in Castroville, get that place back on the map.

Parkfield is pretty sunny.  Probably 300+ sunny days a year.

Let's put a bunch of sensitive electronic equipment in the earthquake capitol of the world, Parkfield! And let's make sure it's the backbone of the power infrastructure for a multi-billion dollar enterprise! Because nothing could go wrong with that...
