South Pismo Dunes 1-22-15

Fished this morning for about two hours this morning.

2nd cast feel a little tap.

5 incher

5th cast feel a little tap.

4 incher

10th cast feel a tug tug tug.

got a ton of the little guys today. Did not matter what I tossed the little guys munched it from gulp to big hammer grubs with some pro-cure on it. Caught probably 18-24 today with only 2 being of any size.

next time will bring the lighter rod, was hoping for larger fish and so only brought the heavy rod.

Good stuff. I used to love chasing surf perch out at Avila. Also caught some BIG ones out in Montana de Oro (Sand Spit)

What is the limit at this location and are various  perch fish lumped together for limit purposes?

Hit it this morning. Got few little ones, two 9" and a 16". Fried up tasty like. First time ive ever done it and they were closer in than I thot they would be.
