I'm looking for a spinning rod for my kayak and found this rod in my price range (around $100). This would be used for rockfish, halibut, and maybe some lings. Anybody used this rod?

I've got two of them, the M and MH I believe in 7ft and love them.  Using a Penn Salt Striker, and a Cabelas reel, I use them for live bait and fly-lining / drift fishing for WSB and Halibut.  I always laugh about the PB that yelled out to me while I was hooked up on a WSB slayride: "On a fricken TROUT ROD?!?!?!"  :smt044  Second to that, I love my M Trevala Spinning rod too!  :smt002

I have a few of those Teramar.I think they are great rods. I use the spinning 7' rods for striper fishing on the river and the deltas.

I caught this on a 6'9" Teramar rod with an Abu Revo Toro.

It all depends on what sized weights/jigs you are using. Mine 7' rated for 1/4 - 3/4 oz so I use it mainly for stripers and its a great rod.

I'm usually using no weight (fly-lining or a bobber) or something simple like 1/4oz to 1/2 oz.
