Hello, I talked to ACK and willing to let me do a lay away plan on the Hobie Revo, wondering if there is a local shop that do the same? the only difference is NO TAX on ACK only $49.00 shipping will be added. But I am a local whore which want to support local shops. If you know one let me know. THANKS

My name is Bryan and work at Headwaters Adventure Company in Redding, CA and would be willing to do a layaway program for a Revo 13. I can't waive the sales tax and would have to charge a mandatory $189.00 shipping charge per kayak, which is a Hobie requirement. Or you can make the drive up here and pick it up personally which might save you some money. Another thing is you can check with your local dealerships about layaway programs and save you the $189 shipping charge.

Rockman, I am not selling the T13, I was actually surprise to get some PM about it. Thanks

Hi Angler Dangler,
Thanks for the reply, I think with my budget $189 Shipping + $207 TAX  = $396. That maybe too stiff for me. I guess I have to choose practical vs local support. THANK YOU.

If you pick it up you could subtract the $49 shipping from Ack off of the tax. $158 more than Ack and he might  give you a discount on the Kayak or  free gear.

Why don't you "lay-away" your scratch into a shoebox and buy one from a bro on here? Or a local shop?  Or am I totally missing the concept of lay away?   :smt002

Check with Dave at Kayak Connection. That way, you can just pick it up then go fishing in Santa Cruz. Rockfish season opens May 1st.
