I went out for a few hours this afternoon. Started off trying to jig the kelp paddies with no luck.  Moved out towards the shale reef and picked up a nice verm and several good sized blacks. Since the swell and current were moving so quick...I set up with a rattling jerk bait (complete with pink nail polish) on a reverse dropper loop.  Good afternoon in the water even if the weather wasn't too plesant !

And this rig sounds like a cool idea!
