I am new to the area and am in school working on a masters...best study breaks have been fishing!  So far my favorite spots have been down in carmel bay...rockfish and lingcod have been great fun this summer in the kelp.

I am pretty new to kayak fishing and have already learned quite a bit here on the board, thank you!  I recently bought a SOT 11.5, and I am still learning all the tricks to rigging her out.

I like to try to get out at least once a week for some R/R...still learning a lot though and would like to start targeting halibut.
