Lots of room! . .har har.

Launched from Coral St at around 10:30am on Sat.  Sin_Coast and his buddies Jeff and Ryan were getting set up when I got there - we launched into flat and windless seas.  Jeff got a small black and yellow . .which I think was his first kayak fish . . but it was super slow and we headed towards pt Pinos.  The swell wasn't big but it was a really short period and had kind of a minor "washing machine" effect.  It was enough for me . . .I turned green and headed in after about 1.5 hours of fishing.  Ended up with a real nice grass rockfish ~3lbs or so and a decent olive  - both released unharmed.  Also got 1 or 2 small black and yellows which were also released safely.  I managed to not puke which was nice.  I think if I would've headed toward Otter Cove instead of the point I would've been fine . . next time I'll do that, instead.

When I finally drove away everybody was on the shore except Sin_Coast - did you get anything?

Fishing is cool

Saturday was the slowest I've seen.
Me and Jeff went back out and headed toward Otter Cove and fished deper than we had been fishing.
Found a great spot with plenty of fish and we had a little competition going. I ended up catching 28 and Jeff got about 20. All the regular species though...nothing special. Did finally catch a cab from a kayak. The reddest cab ever! It was only about 15 inches so I tossed him back. He hit a big old megabait.

Good day. Not so great catching. Not the best weather. But i still had an awesome time. Sorry you got a little green, Chris! I KNOW THE FEELING!
