Alright so this is my first OFFICIAL post.

Went out earlier today and had a good idea where I wanted to dive/fish so I headed out to Carmel from Seaside around 2:30pm. It looked surgy from the road but once I got suited and booted and hit the beach I was super stoked because the water was so inviting. There were minor swells about 20 sec apart. Nothing crazy at all ... It was literally perfect. I read some reports earlier this week which made me hesitant to attempt a dive and needless to say I'm glad I didn't heed those warnings. Visibility was cool, better than anticipated that's for sure. On my 4th or 5th drop I saw a nice size Cab just chillin so I stoned him and called it a day. If I had a legit stringer I would have fished some more but I didn't feel like attempting to drag in another body with no bag!! I'm going back out real soon. This was a double cherry popper for me too ... 1st solo dive and 1st log in DOTY.
